Remember to register to the 8th edition of "The family in the neonatal intensive care unit"
The 8th edition of "The family in the neonatal intensive care unit" organized by prof. Gina Ancora (Director of the NICU, Ospedale Infermi Rimini, AUSL Romagna) will be held on-line this year.
The webinar aims at promoting a culture of innovation and parental inclusion in the NICUs. Within a rich and intriguing program featuring clinician and research contributions, I will present how different parent-infant healthcare services have tried to adapt to the 2020 pandemic emergency showcasing upcoming results from the lab. This contribution will include the presentation of preliminary data on the psychological response of parents of children with disability and the effectiveness of a tele-rehabilitation program (EnFORCE project), the COVID-related stress experienced by pregnant women during the lockdown in northern Italy (MOM-COPE project), and the changes in daily care activities and job organization in ten NICUs in the Tuscany region (SPACE-NET project).
You can find more details on these studies on the Projects page of my website.
